Next in our series of 5-minute safeguarding CPD sessions to use at the start of a staff briefing or inset session, this time we are talking about appropriate language. Language matters - for example, if we say a 12 year old is a risk-taker or has a 20 year old boyfriend, we may not be naming vulnerability or abuse.
The whole session will take less than 5 minutes, including discussion time.
